Frequently Asked Questions about PSU C 4-H

Q:  What is Penn State Collegiate 4-H?

A:  We are a student organization sponsored by the College of Ag Sciences and the Department of Ag Extension and Education.  Unlike the 4-H groups you may have been part of in your youth, we do not do traditional projects. Instead, we promote leadership development, help out in the community through service projects, and have fun!

Q:  Do I have to be a Pennsylvania 4-H alum to participate?

A:  NO! Our club is open to any Penn State University Park student who shares an interest in leadership, service and networking.  You don't have to be from Pennsylvania or from a 4-H club.

Q:  Is Collegiate 4-H just for agricultural majors?

A:  No.  Like traditional 4-H, we have a diverse membership in Collegiate 4-H.  Members hail from various disciplines from the Earth Sciences to Business.

Q:  When are meetings?

A:  Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month with the exception of December and January.   All meetings for the 2006-2007academic year will be held in 118 ASI. Please check out our Calendar for specific dates!

Q:  Where do I sign up?

A:  Contact our advisors, Dr. Jackie Bruce at jab743@psu.edu or Dr. Nicole Webster at nsw10@psu.edu, or our president, Bernadette Nace at ben121@psu.edu for more information.
